Here’s a podcast I listened to recently that I found quite interesting. It’s about a company that decided not to keep their salaries a secret and how that worked out for them. You can find it over at Planet Money: It’s episode 550: When Salaries Aren’t Secret.
I’m quite fond of the Planet Money podcasts. They’re usually not too long and they easily explain economics topics and are just very much in the NPR tradition of radio (or podcasts). Sometimes you find out the strangest things you never knew, like in episode 545: The Blue Pallet. Who really thought about pallets before? And why the exist in different colors?
Anyway, enjoy. :)
